Barbie Bachelorette Bash

Warning: This post is VERY photoey! My amazefest friends took me on a Bachelorette trip this weekend, and it was such a blast. They really worked sooooo hard to make it such a special weekend, and I wouldn't change a thing. I mean if I were another bride, I would have been jealous of my friends!

We stayed at the penthouse of Observation Point right above Rum Runners in San Destin. If you are looking for a good girl's weekend condo, this is it. It was three stories complete with a player piano, a third floor lookout and bar, a wall Ipad for people to Facetime with their kids, and just about everything else you can imagine.
Stepford Wives and Punk Rock Barbie (The Cyndi Lauper Twins)

We had so much fun playing this Justin Jeopardy game where I had to guess Justin's answers to questions.

Being a Barbie with no joints.

They even had our menus personalized at Mitchell's Seafood Market.

The pink Barbie Sunglasses made you feel like you were a GREAT dancer.

Cute Bride tank and beach bag they gave me for the pool.

Ali was such a Preggo trouper!

This arrow was so much fun! I recommend getting one for your friend's bach weekend.

Ali's baby's first kiss!! Love this pic!!

To all my sweet friends who made this such an amazing and memorable weekend, I LOVE YOU SOOOOO MUCH!!!!

Strong Bride...

I haven't posted in a while, because I figured I would only post when I had something I really wanted to talk about. Well, I have something new in my life that I love!! I've been trying to figure out some type of fitness schedule that would really change my body. I could join a gym, but let's be honest, I'm probably not going to go long term. I knew I needed something that had small classes and a network that would encourage me to keep it up. My other criteria was just to have something that I felt like REALLY worked. I've done fitness classes in the past that I didn't get too much out of and wanted to make sure that wouldn't be the case again. I absolutely found what I was looking for!

My wedding planner suggested I try Reformer Pilates at Pilates of Jackson. After my first class, I was sore in places that I didn't even know I could be sore in. It was hard, but absolutely possible for me to do this! I felt encouraged and excited about working out!! The instructors and other people in the class were so encouraging. In fact, in my class last Friday, the instructor would look at me every time I was struggling with something and say, "You're a strong bride!" So excited to keep going and see how my body changes!! If you're looking for something new, you should give it whirl too!

Happy Monday!

Christmas Gift Ideas...

Good Morning!!!! This morning, I found out I was the lucky winner of a $25 Stella and Dot gift credit from the lovely Callie Collins over at The Good Life.
If you don't already follow her blog, you definitely should! It's full of fun stuff from Pinterest finds and fashion to football and recipes. Now, Callie also happens to be a stylist for Stella and Dot. I've always seen cute items that others have from S&D, but haven't really gotten a chance to check it out myself. Well, this morning when I got the notice that I was a {WINNER}, you better bet I was browsing that website like nobody's business!!! Let me tell y'all, they had some pretty cute stuff! Hello? Christmas GIFTS!!! Since Callie was so sweet to host the giveaway, I thought I would share some of my favorite things from her Stella and Dot Store here on my blog for my 3 readers all of you out there.

I just think this necklace is beautiful!!

I love layering bracelets, and these would be PERFECT!

I may or may not have gotten these for someone on my Christmas list.

I love, love, love a basic "go with everything" earring. These are perfect, and the price isn't bad either!

These are just pretty!

Hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!

Photo Dump

I always internally blame my lack of blogging on the fact that I haven't had a good camera in a while. Well, I still don't have a good camera, but I do have one that snaps photos. Here are some of the recent things that have been going on lately...

We went to the State vs. Texas A&M game and had so much fun!! All of my Phi Mu best friends and I did a tailgate, and I'm really hoping this becomes a tradition for at least one game each year. I had so much fun just getting to hang out with these girls at the place where most of us first met. Plus, I had a pretty cute date, too!

Not sure what that strand of hair was, but it photo bombed all my pics!
Group pic...

A couple of weeks ago, we took a trip to the coast, and I got to meet Justin's only living grandmother and some of his other family at a wedding. We stayed with his grandmother, and she was the sweetest host. I felt so welcome in her home, and even came away with a recipe for her cornbread dressing and a garlic press from her kitchen. My favorite part, though was getting to see so many cute pictures of Justin and his brothers growing up.

Last week, I got to enjoy lunch with some of my best friends and one sweet, handsome little boy. My friends were also so sweet to bring my Campbell's bakery treats to celebrate my bday!

We celebrated my actual birthday with dinner at Sombra with some friends and had an absolute blast!

All of the girls together...

Nasty Picture Alert!
In the last bit of news, Justin has killed 2 deer this season!! I'm not the hugest fan of killing animals (even though I do eat them), but this truly makes him happy, y'all! And you know what they say, "Happy Future Hubby, Happy Life." That is what they say, right??

Don't I look thrilled to be the one who got elected to hold the horns up on this one for the picture!!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!!
