First, I realize this has turned into a wedding blog. I know, I know!! It's probably a little obnoxious annoying. My only defense is to tell you that I just want to make sure I'm documenting everything. And hey, at least I'm doing it on here where people have free choice to click the link, instead of my Facebook page. Does that make it any better???

ANYWHO...

Wedding planning has been really fun so far. I have to admit, I've been planning this wedding in my head for a while now, but just now getting to solidify details. It hasn't really been stressful yet, and I'm really thankful for that! So here's a list of things that have been done so far.

Say Yes to the Dress!

This weekend, on June 16, 2012, I found a MY wedding dress. I wanted to document this moment, because I want to remember how I felt and how excited I was that day! I only tried on 3 dresses, and when I got to the one I picked, I just knew. Well, actually I knew once we put the sash with it. I felt like a bride immediately. It was the weirdest feeling, but I LOVED it!

Engaged!

I'm soooo late on this post, but I wanted to make sure to document this time in my life. I'm so excited to share that one week ago, Justin and I got ENGAGED!! On June 8, 2012! I have never been more excited about anything. I'm so excited that I get to marry someone that I truly love and who loves and accepts me for exactly who I am. It's really the best feeling in the whole world. Here are some pics; and hopefully, I'll have some more updates on the planning as we go along. I'm challenging myself to blog more during our engagement, so I'll always have these memories documented.

Catchup Time

Wow! I haven't done a post since March 9th! I've been a blog slacker before, but never this bad. I honestly just can't ever think of anything to blog about! I guess I need to get a new camera spice up my life. So here are a few things that have happened lately.

 

We went to Riverfest a couple of weeks ago in Vicksburg with my brother, Zach and Mallory. Sooo glad we ended going because it was so much fun and I got to see Lindsey and Hunt.

 

By the way, Lindsey's design blog, Sugar Plums, has some cute new wreaths at great prices. Go by and check them out!!

 

Sorry for the blurry pic, but Myers had a program at school last week and it was sooooo sweet. I can't believe how big he is getting. He did such a great job singing all the songs.

I just love this pic that I stole from my mom's fb page. Just makes me smile every time I see it!

 

Over the weekend, we got to watch Trey and Morgan Stokes get married. It was such a beautiful wedding, and we had such a great time!
